Special Interest Announce New Album ‘Endure’, Release Lead Single ‘Midnight Legend’ feat. Mykki Blanco and New Tour Dates

Special Interest are set to release Endure, their third album and debut on Rough Trade Records, on Friday, November 4th 2022. The announcement comes together with the new single ‘Midnight Legend’ featuring iconic rapper Mykki Blanco, and complete with a stunning music video directed by Special Interest vocalist Alli Logout.
Alli Logout describes the single as “a love song to all the girls leaving the club at 6 AM, a love song to everybody who doesn’t have love around them. The ways we numb ourselves or participate in high-risk behavior because we all feel so isolated and alone is also very much enabled by clubs, institutions, and party ‘friends.’ This song is about listening to people who never actually get heard.”
Endure is available to pre-order now via Rough Trade Records Webstore on Limited Yellow LP, Black LP and CD. A special edition LP bundle (Black or Yellow LP) comes with two limited edition 7”s, the new “Midnight Legend” 7”(limited to 1000 copies) featuring both the Mykki Blanco-version of the track & the album version and also a copy of the long sold out “(Herman’s) House” 7” originally launched earlier this year.
Endure was self-produced and recorded at HighTower in New Orleans with engineering by James Whitten, mixed by Collin Dupuis (Angel Olsen, Yves Tumor, Lana Del Rey) and mastered by Matt Colton in London at Metropolis.
