This Is The Kit Releases New Album ‘Off Off On’

Today This Is The Kit release new album Off Off On, with The Independent hailing Kate as ‘one of the most original and musically gifted artists of today’. Inspired by the time she spent as a featured vocalist on The National’s latest album + tour, Off Off On is a beautifully clear distillation of leader Kate Stables’ lucid lyrics and expansive song-writing skills. Grounded in, but hardly confined by her folk background, Stables embraces jazzy cadences, tranquil woodwind, soulful brass, African highlife and desert blues.
